This is my new friend. Her name is Lady, and what a lady she is! I had fun playing with her on Sunday... lots of fun. I'm not so sure what she thought of me. Everytime I tried playing with her, she'd turn her head and pretend I wasn't there. Sometimes I'd run back and forth from room to room to get her attention, but that didn't seem to work, either. I even bit her butt a few times without luck. I think my feline cousins down south might appreciate my spunk more than this old weiner dog. Bax & Dex, when do we get to play?!

Mommy and Daddy brought me to the beach last weekend. I didn't know what was going on. All of a sudden my paws sunk into the earth and I had sand all over my nose. It was kind of fun to run through. Then they took me up to the water. That looked fun, too, until a big wave came and got my fur all wet. What was that for? I'm not too sure about this anymore. Hey, can I get some time off the leash?
Hi, my name is Rooney. I am a dog. I was born in Tennessee and raised by two old people who talk funny. I never understood what they were saying. One day they put me in a car and drove somewhere far, far away. I think that's where I am now. I waited for hours and hours, watching all of my brothers and sisters leave me. I was left alone with the toothless dog. No one wanted me.
Then these people came in and picked me up. They started playing with me and told me we were going home. I got excited and started singing,
Rocky top, you'll always be home sweet home to me. Good ole rocky top, rocky top Tennessee, rocky top Tennessee...
I never did make it home to Tennessee that day, but I did pick up a cool new set of parents. They let me lick them a lot, dig through their dirty clothes, and even run around the house as fast as I possibly can. I think I might just stay here in New Jersey.
